Level 2 Award in Instructing Kettlebells

Level 2 Award in Instructing Kettle bells

The aim of this qualification is to train learners, who already have knowledge and skills in fitness instruction, to a professionally competent level to plan and deliver safe and effective kettle bell exercises and training sessions.

 

Assessment –

During your assessment you will be required to complete a portfolio of evidence along with a practical assessment.

 

Cost

This course runs at £350, with a £50 deposit and monthly instalments available on request.

 

Entry Requirements

A suitable Level 2 Fitness Instructing qualification e.g.  Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing. Some experience of kettlebell training is useful.

 

 


Level 2 Award in Instructing Studio Cycling

Level 2 Award in Instructing Studio Cycling

The aim of this qualification is to train learners, who already have knowledge and skills in fitness instruction, to a professionally competent level to plan and deliver safe and effective group cycling sessions.

Assessment –
During the assessment you will be required to complete coursework and a practical demonstration/assignment.

 

Cost

This course runs at £350 with just a £50 deposit. We also offer a monthly payment scheme of a minimum of £100 a month.

 

Entry Requirements

A suitable Level 2 Fitness Instructing qualification e.g. Active IQ Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing. Some experience of studio cycling is useful.


Level 3 Diploma in Exercise Referral (QCF)

Introduction

This qualification is designed to provide learners with the knowledge to ensure safe and effective exercise programming for clients with a number of medical conditions and common reasons for referral onto a community-based exercise referral scheme.

Assessment –

Throughout this course you will be required to complete a multiple choice examination, coursework, a portfolio of evidence and a practical demonstration/assignment.

 

Cost

This course runs at £400. We also offer a monthly payment scheme with a £50 deposit.

Requirements

Learners must hold either a Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing (Gym/ Exercise to Music or Aqua) or equivalent (including qualifications which give entry to the REPs Physical activity Advisor category) or one of the following:
– Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training
– Level 3 Diploma in Instructing Pilates Matwork
– Level 3 Diploma in Teaching Yoga.

 

 


Level 2 Award in Instructing Circuit Sessions (CPD)

Level 2 Award in Instructing Circuit Sessions

To train learners, who already have knowledge and skills in gym or exercise to music instruction, to a professionally competent level to plan and deliver safe and effective circuit training sessions.

Assessment –

Coursework, Portfolio of Evidence, Practical Demonstration/Assignment.
This qualification comprises of 2 units (5 credits). For detailed information on the qualification structure download the Qualification Guidance.

 

Cost

This course runs at £350. With a £50 deposit and monthly instalments.

 

Entry Requirements

  • A suitable Level 2 Fitness Instructing qualification e.g. Active IQ Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing (Gym/ETM).
  • Some experience of circuit training is useful.

Why combine the two?

Instead of booking your level 2 certificate in fitness instructing and level 3 certificate in personal training courses separately, save over £112 by purchasing them as a bundle.

 


Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training

Level 3 Certificate in Personal Training

This qualification gives learners the knowledge and skills to work with individuals and groups of clients in a personal training setting. Successful achievement of the qualification will allow the learner to gain employment within an organisational setting or alternatively in a self-employed environment.

It also provides access onto The Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) at level 3.

E-Learning –
You will receive E-Learning through the Active IQ website and will be required to complete all modules before attending the course.

Assessments –
Whilst completing the course you will sit 2 exam papers on Unit 1 and 4 of the E-Learning and will complete a practical assessment. For your practical assessment you are required to complete an 8 week progressive training programme. You will also be required to complete a work book over the 3 week period until your practical exam.

 

Cost

Our level 3 course runs at only £550. We offer a monthly payment scheme with only a £50 deposit and payments a minimum of £100 a month.

 

What we expect from you

The course requires physical exertion and individual participation is essential, therefore a degree of physical fitness is necessary.
There is an element of communication (discussing, presenting, reading and writing) and application of number involved, and learners should have basic skills in communication and application of number pitched at levels 3 and 2 respectively.

Level 2 Fitness Instructor Gym

If you are looking to complete your Level 2 Fitness Instructor Gym Course, we guarantee you won’t regret using us.

Our course runs over a weekend course Saturday and Sunday 9-5pm. You will then have 3 weeks to prepare for your practical assessment.

This qualification provides the knowledge and skills to enable learners to plan, deliver and evaluate safe and effective sessions. This qualification will provide entry onto the Register of Exercise Professionals at Level 2.

E-Learning –
You will receive E-Learning through the Active IQ website and will be required to complete all modules before attending the course.

Assessments –
Whilst completing the course you will sit 2 exam papers on Unit 1 and 4 of the E-Learning and will complete a practical assessment. You will also be required to complete a work book over the 3 week period until your practical exam.

Are you looking for a Sports Massage Course in Cardiff? Here at the PT School we offer the Active IQ Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy.

This course is Massagea great way to set up a career as a sports massage therapist, if you are a PT looking to add an additional skill to your portfolio or someone interested in offering sports massage and setting up their own business we can help you start off on the right foot.

This course runs in two formats, one is a week long intense course followed by practise time and an additional assessment day, the other is run over multiple weekends.

Entry requirements:

There are no specific entry requirements for this qualification, although you should have good communication skills. Performing sports massage is a physical activity so it’s important that you have a reasonable level of fitness
